About us
We can’t help everyone, but. . . Everyone can help someone.
Every year in India, 122,844 citizens, including children, are diagnosed with cancer, breast cancer, and cervical cancer and 67,477 women die from breast cancer as of 2022.
Our medical professionals utilize advanced health systems and adapt to free and culturally acceptable interventions to achieve a lasting impact. If the public can successfully make use of this facility, they can avoid the progression of cancer and cervical cancer, thus greatly reducing the need for invasive treatments for breast cancer and improve their chances for survival and quality of life in the future.
The ICCDF Foundation is a non-profitable cancer awareness foundation founded by Dr. Sharmila Nagarajan and has established an infrastructure in Pondicherry on May 27, 2020. Through our foundation, mobile screening facilities are provided, along with a synergistic medical team of doctors, nurses, and assistants who work closely with local authorities, district health offices, hospitals, health posts, as well as women and children organizations. The associates of our foundation have identified a commutable venue for breast and cervical screening campaigns.
